Odd ball English summer adventures

Very informative and very funny. I had no idea there were such oddball activities going on in England like toe wrestling, shin kicking, and giant pasty sailing. Sounds like the Turnip festivals of America have some competition. A person can also learn how crop circles are formed if you dont believe the other theory of how they come to be. The chapter on this was informative for me. I have never seen a crop circle with all the visits to England I have made, but obviously I had heard of them. I can definitely recommend this to Anglophiles, travelogue seekers, and those who just want a good laugh at the expense of the English (really they dont mine...they love to laugh at themselves as you can see in this book).
