The Wilsons are an average English middle-class family; Alice is juggling two jobs to save for a second home in France, her husband, Richard, is absconding money from the firm to enact his escape, their older daughter, Florrie, is dealing cannabis at her private school, and their younger daughter, Rosie, has been detained by the police for shoplifting. Meanwhile, Alice's brother, Peter, continues to annoy everyone with whom he comes into contact, and her best friend, Kate Hardy, is abusive to her loyal girlfriend to the point of desperation. The only two people who don't have issues are Richard's girlfriend, Gemma, who looks forward to coming into a fortune, and Napoleon the dog who dreams of being able to poo on the new patch of grass out front. All comes to a head when Louse Stone is hired to bump one of these people off. The big question is: Who is the target? And who does the hiring?
