Okay

While this was mildly entertaining, it was a little too far-fetched for me. However, I guess that is what literary license is all about. This is, after all, "historical fiction", right? I have read so many books about Marilyn and what happened to her and there is no way to know what really happened. Everyone seems to have accepted their own beliefs about what was true and what wasn't. In truth, the sad part to me, we how poorly this woman was treated - strictly as a commodity and as someone to use. Oh, and back then the studio executives called all the shots. There was to true CSI in those days and believe me, the crime scene was not preserved in the case of Marilyn's death. And with lack of what is available to us today, it is reasonable to assume that the real truth will never be known and that a lot of people took the truth of what happened with them to their graves. It is an interesting novella.
