A Dragon of Blood and Brass: The Blooded Chronicles: Book 1

By Daniel Trentacoste

Over the course of several centuries, the Drakin of the isolated, eastern land of Drachonia have become a fragmented and tribal society. Once united in preserving its way of life against the malicious creatures that roam the previously uninhabited land, the amalgamations of men and dragons that are the Drakin now contend against each other for survival. Though most of Drachonia's people are unaffected, and have in fact forgotten the glorious days of a united Drachonia, there are still many who bear the fallout of the great division that has separated the clans of Drakin. This tale follows Rhogar, a young, ambitious Drakin who seeks nothing more than to be respected and remembered by his people and prove he is capable of being a member of his clan. However, he finds himself transformed in his pursuit for glory. Cursed and forced into a pact with an all powerful being, he must now face the largest threat to his tribe in centuries and attempt to unite his segregated homeland in the process, all while trying to slay the demons within himself.
