This book is intended to entertain and educate children between the ages of 7 - 15. The book takes the young reader into Rover's daily activities and adventures. The book also educates on caring for a puppy. Throughout the book, there are pictures capturing special moments. Rover learns to make friends with other dogs and how to defend himself. There are moments in the book where Rover learns new tricks and experience first time growing pains. As a puppy, he learns to have fun by himself and becomes comfortable in his new home. Rover is adopted from a litter of pups given to me by a sibling through a co-worker. He learns to appreciate nature and all the other animals that freely live in his home such as rabbits and squirrels. Also, taking the puppy to the veterinarian and making sure he gets lots of exercise. Most importantly, sharing and caring for a lifetime companion.
