A Deeper Connection: Intimacy With God

The call to write this book came out of a desire to connect and know God in greater depth, not just in knowledge of the Bible, but to delve more intimately into the part of God that is not written, that part that one has to experience in silence. This ninety day devotional is about a continual seeking, involving God in every moment of life. God's invitation is open for us to come closer, to open the eyes of our heart, mind, body, and soul and to feel His presence within us. We are invited to more fully open our eyes to see the daily view of His indescribable creations of nature that He has placed before us. In the process of writing this book, taken from my daily letters to God, I look back and see my own growth with God, and I feel it deep within my soul. In solitude with God, He reveals more of Himself, His depth of love. In the process, we let go of those things within us that need to be removed. There is no longer a fa?ade. We become more the true self that God created us to be. Each day we are invited to enter the footprints of Christ in a world where more of God, more of Christ, more of the Holy Spirit is greatly needed. This book is about God's commission to each of us, His beloved, to spread the hope, peace, joy, light and love of Christ into the world. A Deeper Connection invites us to come inside, to enter a deeper level with God, seeking, listening, and following God and discovering His love. It is a love so great that it will change us and make our lives more meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling. Our ordinary lives will become extraordinary when we are deeply connected with our heavenly Father. Our lives travel beyond the normal to the divine. God whispers an invitation to come deeper into His love. We must enter at our own pace into the heart of God. And once we do, it will be difficult to leave because it is the depth of God's love for His creation, His beloved. God desires this with us, and we desire this with Him. Our lives will be changed, blessed beyond anything the world can offer, and for that we lift to God our full abandonment and love.
