Fossil Fuel--Who Needs It? (Not us!)

Although I've read Gina Cresse's books in the wrong order (I started by reading her most recent book, A DEADLY CHANGE OF LUCK),this book stands on its own even though it involves the same protagonist. Cresse starts with an intriguing premise: there are other ways to fuel cars than by gas-guzzling engines. (What good timing on my part--I've just been reading about the new "hybrid" cars, and have seriously considered buying one!) Cresse's style is unmistakable--smart and funny. She has a knack for creating lively,likeable characters, and I highly recommend this book.
