Lucy is having a bad first day at school and is feeling sad, until Katie comes along. Katie notices that Lucy is feeling scared and lonely, she decides to be kind to Lucy and help her settle into her first day. When Lucy returns home, she tells her mum all about her day with kindness, and how her simple kind gestures made Lucy's scary first day at school better.
This is a short children's story about kindness, and how small gestures can be really important. It hopes to teach children simple steps to being kind, playing with children if they are alone, sharing their toys if they can, and being kind to others.
