Folly Prep Academy in Boston, Massachusetts has reached the end of the school year. Farewell to the seniors from the journalism laboratory.

A lab, run by a lovable advisor, who sets Fridays aside to challenge their minds, with an in-class mystery game called... A dark and stormy night.

Murder plots, sex, and discussions of their favorite clich s highlight what works... and what doesn't, in the all but gone slasher genre they love.

For Charlotte Avery Cosgrove, her next stop is Harvard. A down to earth valedictorian always at her best when solving anything thrown her way.

Tonight's speech rehearsal is a competition for the coveted Shakespeare scholarship. Instead... the seniors find themselves left alone in the pitch black.
