Thousands of years ago, a man named Wahn was turned into a crow by Baiame, the Creator of the Aboriginal lands around, and much of what appeared within it.

For acts of treachery and unkindness, Wahn was punished, but it was for the better, for he became a much-looked upon character of legend and myth, a crow on which to be trusted.

From being nasty and mischievous, Wahn became good, kind, and a friend to all he met, until one day the Creator, Baiame, rewarded him with a wish: Wahn's sole desire.
