The primary objective of the work outlined below is to provide a critical assessment of Wildavsky's theory of the two presidencies referring to American presidents plus their foreign affairs and domestic policy achievements. The evaluation will critically examine how the presidents selected achieved their policy successes or otherwise, and whether or not such achievements back up or contradict the theory of Wildavsky. Political scientist / International Relations expert Aaron Wildavsky originally developed the two presidencies theory in relation to the foreign and domestic policies pursued by Presidents Harry S Truman, Dwight D Eisenhower, John F Kennedy, and Lyndon B Johnson.
