A Gallant Man

Jo Barnett just got out of a bad relationship with an actor Nick Keith. Jo is one of the writers on a soap opera. Alex MacHail is an actor picked to play a new character Johnny, problem, Johnny is supposed to be black. When Jo finds the boss, Ron has placed Alex as Johnny. She and the other writers now have to throw out weeks of work and start again, and have a scrip ready yesterday, she is mad, and she takes it out on Alex. Now Alex is trying to adopt a 4 yr old boy named Buddy(Alejandro) who is an orphan. Alex is rich because he was given money to invest and he invested it well. Although his father wanted him to fellow him as a investment broker, Alex became an actor. When Jo is evicted from her apartment, Alex is there with a convenient proposal, he tells Jo he needs a roommate because of a wild cat he has been feeding. There is no cat. Jo hate being lied to.
