Did you know that Jesus was raised in a family that was, in many ways, just like the families we were raised in? He had brothers and sisters, and they would sometimes make fun of Him as they grew up, and some even called Him "crazy"

But when they were adults, they became very strong believers in their half-brother. That that is another thing Many people do not realize why we say they were His half-brothers. It is very simple. Their father was Mary's husband, Joseph. Jesus had a different 'father'. His 'Father' was God's Holy Spirit. That made them half-brothers or half-sisters of Jesus.s

Two of the brothers, when they were grown, became ardent leaders in the early church. James became the first pastor of the church in Jerusalem, leading many to Jesus as their Savior, and Jude became a writer and teacher who also led many to believe in Jesus.
