Set in New York City, this 'dramedy' involves an eight year old girl who talks to a butcher store cat on Christmas Eve, Ralph, the butcher and owner of the Five Star Market has a monetary crisis that has to be solved by Christmas Eve. Money he owes to a local Manhattan loan shark has come due with no more extensions. His long time employee Sally, along with her college student nephew and Carlos, the deliveryman, all try to help Ralph thru the crisis. It is only thru the revelation of one little girl that a Christmas Eve 'miracle teach all about the lessons of forgiveness.
