A Child's Pleading: Poetic Autobiography

Life is an emotional journey and so is this book. The word "Pleading" in the title acts as a noun and a verb. The poems were written between 1994 and 2017. I have learned that in order to be truly healed and free, one must discover their weaknesses first. Once those weaknesses are acknowledged, powerful transformations can then take place.I am an example of transformation having been a Nightclub Bartender full of fear to a Church Volunteer with big goals and dreams to help inspire others towards their greatness. All of this would not have taken place had I not taken a real, hard look at myself, discover where life wasn't working and make the necessary changes. I have a testimony that we can shift our lives at any time - even in this very moment. These poems healed me. I hope you find healing from them as well.
