Private Detective Bob Roosevelt is an old hippie Vietnam vet, who is desperately trying to find the love of his life and his center, but every time love or even a glimpse of enlightenment is within Roosevelt's grasp he inadvertently stumbles into murder and utter chaos. Who could have known what a lousy bowl of chili at a greasy road side cafe would lead to when all Roosevelt wanted to do was have a quick bite to eat before heading to Colorado to go trout fishing. Filled with zany and off-the-wall characters there has to be someone who tells the truth. Or is there? A sly and subtle look at our, often times, absurd modern life.
