A Broken Promise

By: McClain, Latoya J.

Talk about life long work. Come on a journey with me through some of my trails and tribulations in life. You'll feel the pain I felt, you'll feel the love I felt, and so many more raw and uncut emotions. What started as writing to cope, to escape, to release, turned into a diary, a safe place, an autobiography, but through poetry and now a start to my healing journey.
When you read my words it's like you feel it, that energy, that passion that I felt while writing really grabs you in.
