i am shocked. i am veritably shaken by this milestone of a book. Sheer genious, if i've ever seen it. Lecuyer, is open and friendly with his emotions letting you in to see the real Jim Lecuyer. and he's also a very nice man, in fact he didn't tear off my clothes when i went to get this book signed.his poetry is so, fluid. so personal. One of the poems is about Lecuyer's aunt and should not be missed, in fact it should be read over and over to get the true meaning? Incestuous, yes but these poems go to such a level that one can't help but feel something for their own mother too.in fact, mymother and i had a good time nejoying these poems.a modern-day Freud, Lecuyer is also very schooled in verse and rhyme. His poems remind one of a bad neighborhood at dusk, when the children are playing in the sewers and the dope dealers haven't come out yet. Yes, it transports you back to a time when peoples were opressed and the blood ran freely from the guillotine. Ye such were my feelings that i had to go out and commit a few horrors on my own.In closing i'd like to reccomend this book to everyone, and i assure you that unlike me not everyone will kill their father and sleep with their mother and grandchildren after reading it.happy Sailing!contrary to popular belief, prison is a nice place.
