A Brazen Bargain; Rafe and Minerva’s story

The second in the series and this book involves Rafe, Lily’s brother, and Minerva, Lily’s best friend. The story starts with Minerva’s brother Simon losing large amounts of money to some scoundrels. Rafe comes to the rescue with a bargain for Simon and Minerva to work at his country estate to have the debt cleared that he essentially bought. Of course there is the whole “they can’t stand each other” with Minerva and Rafe; which turns into they can’t keep away from each other! It really is a wonderful story; less on the spies part than the first book. Not so much in the adventure. But there is a lot in redemption and worth. I loved the characters and their flaws. A really great second book. Can’t wait to see what the third book has to offer!
