The concept of Peace is globally viewed as societal co-existential friendship devoid of war, insurgency or violence. Simply put, it means an atmosphere of tranquility and living in harmony. This Anthology, aptly coined: "A Bowl Of Peace," strives to promote world peace by engaging the penmanship of talented, erudite and prolific poets and poetesses of international repute to use the power of their words to bring to fore the concept to the consciousness of all and sundry. A world basking in euphoria of peace is what we urgently need. Despite the ravages of wars, hostility, racism, and other negative energies bedeviling our beloved planet, we remain optimism that world peace is achievable. And what more to use in making this a reality other than the swords (ironically) at our disposal: and these swords are our words. For they possess the power to give peace a chance. To that end, the song of peace must never depart from our lips and our pen. Obviously, a small ball of peace makes a sweet bowl of peace...
