Jodi, an emancipated slave, spent the entire Civil War in Canada before returning to the United States to marry Ringo, the white abolitionist that freed her, before fighting the Civil War as a Union spy, disguised as a Confederate soldier so Ringo could hunt down and kill or arrest the enemies of the Union. Now Jodi is an undead bounty hunter on a roaring rampage of revenge, as she sets out to destroy the last remaining Confederates, aided by a Chinese fighter for hire named Mannaja, who is proficient with a pistol, but prefers to use an axe. A Boot Full of Blood is a tale of bloody revenge influenced by Spaghetti Western, Quentin Tarantino and giallo films.
