This guide is for Boomers, or anyone approaching or in the ever widening span of middle age, to be able to learn and enjoy snowboarding. This book is written by a Boomer, for Boomers, meaning that the author knows about things important to those of this age group. The book includes various concerns and safety issues about the sport that usually take years to learn, if one were to stick with it long enough. Snowboarding, even in middle age, is a blast, so much fun, that when someone finally gets it "dialed in" they wish they had started it sooner. The book also describes various places to go, advantages and disadvantages of certain regions of the country and some weather concerns usually not thought of until we are already there, and it is too late to do anything about it.
