About the Author

This book introduces a new author in the genre of children's books. Ms. Brown was born in and currently lives in Florida. She has taught elementary school for seven years as a substitute teacher. During that time, she was privileged to be given a classroom by the local school district for one school year as a part of a resident teacher program. Gardening is her favorite hobby but writing is her passion.

As a teacher, Ms. Brown knows firsthand that some students struggle to read. She hopes that, with the help of the illustrations, young readers will see how people lived during the Medieval period. Parents and teachers can use this book as an instrument of learning to foster a reading habit that will last a lifetime.
