A big holiday weekend

A big holiday weekend story is pure fiction. That is, without a doubt, why I liked writing this book and couldn't put it down until it was completed. The guy in the home and one of the reasons the title came to mind was because I understood all too well (as did my three children) what it was like to be part of a household when such a person does not exist. My children grew up with me as a single mother for most of their childhood, and while I am not the same as the single mother in my novel, my boys (both now in their thirties) are not the same as the fictitious character Henry. The topics I'm fully aware of A Big holiday weekend: A yearning for romantic love. A real family's fantasy. A parent's obligation for her kid, as well as the child's responsibility for a parent. The desire for a second opportunity.
