Great Purchase

Love this book, I have had it for years, when my children grew up one by one would take my copy. This one is for me to share with my grandchildren. The book has great pictures and make a great point against lying. The seller was prompt and the book arrived in super time, thank you.

A great book to teach children about the consequences of lying

We checked this book out from the library. Our three year old had a problem with telling us the whole truth. This book really sunk in for her and she was terified of the monster who comes out when the little boy in the story lies. We told her that if we catch her in a lie then we will get out the monster. It has really helped so much and she no longer stretches the truth. Great book and I plan on buying my own copy for future reading.

Lovely Life Lesson

I bought my five year old son this book to try to teach him a little about lying. He really enjoyed it and wanted me to read it over and over. It was clever how the authors used a monster to illustrate the point, as most kids love monster stories.

No Lie!

I work in an elementary School, and let me tell you, I hear some whoppers sometimes. Most of the fibbing the children do is just in fun, or is it? Just as this book indicates and just as the illustrator, illustrates, a big fat enormous lie begings small with a little fibbing then the lie grows to something that, if a child is not made aware, can be turned into a life long trait. You want to hear a lie a former friend told me? He said he could see a deer two miles away, and eventhough he couldn't see the antlers, he could smell whether it was a buck or doe. My son LOVES this book, When I read it to him he could'nt stop laughing and the best thing is he never forgot it. For any child to memorize a certain book is GREAT!
