great for learning both capital and small letters!

This book worked very well teaching my small daughter how to remember the differences between her "big" and "little" letters. Each one is a character, and some of the scrapes they get into are hilarious. I don't agree with the one librarian who said this was confusing. My daughter loves it and learned from it.

Big and Small

Children love the big and small idea. It helps them to identify themselves in context of adults. The idea that there is a big and small in alphabets, illustrated with big and small creatures is enchanting indeed. My daughter loved the pictures and wants to read the book again and again. That's the true test for any book.
