A Non-judgemenal View of the Issue of Homosexuality and the Bible.

I picked this up at a local Christian bookstore near where I live. I had been living the "destructive" life style of homsexual behaviors (according to the bible's standards) and I felt like there was something that I had been missing. A lot of people around me try to convince me that it's ok even according to the Bible's standards, but I had to verify it for myself and I am truly convinced that the homosexual lifestyle is very destructive and "abnormal". There are many gay people who say that i'm a "self-hating", "bitter", "angry" you name it but I finally realized that this lifestyle was bringing me down mentally and somewhat physically as well. I had to change. I'm taking this new journey in my life one day at a time. I want to change, but I don't want to be rushed into another sexual lifestyle at this time. This book is the most non-judgemental stating facts from the Bible and it opens people's eyes as well. If you are struggling with being a believer and a homosexual; read this book.
Great Resource

Nationally syndicated radio host Kerby Anderson has written a wonderful series of books A Biblical Point of View On...a variety of topics. This one on homosexuality is a great resource. The author shows empathy toward the homosexual community instead of condemnation, yet he stands true to the Biblical text. He strikes a fine balance in his view of hating the sin, but loving the sinner. Anderson answers a lot of questions that many of us have on the gay community and gives sound advice on how we can reach out to that community in the name and love of Jesus. This is a great book to share with others.
