Good Book even for Victims of Abuse

This book is good even for victims of abuse. The book is HEAVY and I have to read a couple of pages and put it down for hours at a time. If I am brave enough to read a whole chapter then I am messed up and crying all day long! I'm sure it would not have the same emotional effect on someone who was not abused but I would HIGHLY suggest you this be kept in your resources even if you are just someone who cares enough to be able to reach out to other people. David goes over what victims feel and the ripple effect of how it effects other people in the victims life and he is DEAD on to what happened to me and my family. Also, they talk about how abuse can be a cycle and they break it down as to why it becomes a cycle and exactly how it happens - which is helpful of course in breaking the cycle. I recommend this book highly and if you can't find it here go find it somewhere because you need this book if anyone in your life has ever been touched by this horrible crime.

Excellent book about every aspect of child sexual abuse, including signs to look for, emotional effects, perspectives of the abused, the abuser and the abuser's spouse. Easy to understand, thorough, and written from a Christian perspective. WOW!
