If you are looking to learn Sumi-e, this is the book! Through the photos, drawings and online tutorials it tells you exactly how to manipulate your brush to create the basic techniques. It is a course in a book. Advice on purchasing brushes and ink and supplies is also covered. Very through source for learning Sumi-e.
