At adolescence Fiona had a massive mental breakdown, descended into chronic mental illness enduring much suffering over many years.

She was introduced to a Christian church and the life of Jesus.

"I am at a point in my life where I simply cannot do it anymore. I am completely worn out from running this race. I feel as if I am drowning and You are the only one who can rescue me. What I am experiencing in my life scares the daylights out of me. I am out of energy now and everywhere people are pressing buttons on me and I am seriously not coping"

At a church conference she received a blessing and experienced inner healing, culminating in release of pain.

"Inside for me was a pile of rubbish of unwanted experienced memories and some false accusations about myself. They were eating away at my insides and had become mouldy. I have been redeemed by His precious Blood."

This book consists of short writings by Fiona over a twenty-year journey from suffering and despair to hope and joy.
