A Battle of Champions

With the recent city attacks, Perish hasn't seen much rest. But at least we know who's been behind it: the High Priest. Thankfully, Nik's old master, Mykola, arrived to keep the city from crumbling. But it's only the start. The entire team needs to train-to prepare-for the battle to come. The one that will bring an end to a centuries-old conflict. The Battle of Champions.

And it's in three months.

When Nik is chosen to be our Champion, I know there's nothing I can do. Distracted by a new home purchase, surprising family news, and candid admissions, my focus is drawn elsewhere. But for everything to work out, Nik needs to win the Battle of Champions. And he will.

I believe Nik will save us all.

With Mykola returning, I feel better about our odds-even after the disastrous invasion and all the recent attacks on Perish. We know what's been happening to our city, and how best to combat the threat. My old master has us training for the duel to put an end to all this-the Battle of Champions.

And I'm our Champion.

I'll be preparing for the next three months, but I still have work and my Black Coyote responsibilities. Not to mention a new house and my life with June. Trying to navigate the future of our relationship while preparing for the battle ahead-I definitely have my hands full. But it's worth it. I'm here to protect my city and everyone in it.
