A Battle-Axe and a Bag of Silver (Abridged): The Legend of Ulandier

By William Shepherd Barry

Some knew him as a wandering mercenary. Some knew him as a brutal killer. Some had heard of him as a hero, a savior of the poor and helpless. As time went on, it was rumored he was one of the greatest Arena contestants of all time.... His weapon of choice, a battle-axe. His companions, few and rare. It was said he walked with one of the Shallemyyr, who never involve themselves with ordinary men. A hero? Perhaps. A mysterious figure? Without a doubt. There is far more to his story, so here it begins. Few would ever know much of him, but many would hear his name. They called him ULANDIER.
