A Band of Bees

This story is about two brothers that become separated and must find their way back to each other and the colony they have left behind. It was the first day of spring and troop thirteen failed to return from their honey expedition. The other troops all arrived as scheduled, but troop thirteen was nowhere to be see!

Sean Michael begins to panic, and he feels he must find his brother and troop thirteen before anything happens to them! He knew he must think quickly and make the brave attempt to look for them in the dark.

He sets off to find his older brother, Austin Lee, and the troopers. He is a little uncertain at times if he can do it alone. He did not have any experience outside the colony. He was still a rookie, and he knew he had much to learn. But still, he was not going to let that stop him.

Sean Michael feels he must show Austin Lee that he is ready to be a trooper. He needed to prove to his brother that he could do this. But most of all, he needed his brother home with him again!

He was determined to find them, and he bravely sets off into the night. He later meets many different denizens in the area, including a very different friend he never imagined could be possible. Both brothers learn about the value of believing in the impossible.
