Somewhere in my first year of sobriety, I wrote 90 poems in 90 days. These poems are numbered in the order they were written. The goal of each poem was to record what I was experiencing and feeling at the moment. When I got sober, everything was so raw and it was almost impossible to identify what I was feeling. This exercise helped me do that and it showed me that I could do in sobriety what I thought I could only do drunk.Rick Adams, September 8, 2009
