Cindy Tomlinson began teaching Sex Education to eighth graders in the mid-1980s.

But she soon discovered her students were too embarrassed to voice their questions.

So she created "The Question Box"-anonymous submissions for curious minds. 

The box quickly filled up with questions about body-related myths, misinformation and misnomers.

From questions about the shapes and sizes of male and female anatomy to questions about gay sex, animal sex, masturbation, orgasms, and pregnancy, this question box allowed healthy conversations in a non-judgmental space.

Now, more than three decades later, Cindy Tomlinson is sharing the contents of the box with the rest of us. Be prepared for words like penis and vagina (Or peanut and virginia for students who mis-heard.)
