Not for everyone

This book, as well as the second book, I do NOT recommend for beginners. By that, I mean beginning to search. I DO recommend this book for those that are still searching, but have experience and an idea where they want to go. As with any book, fiction or non-fiction, you must find one that speaks to YOU. Not everyone is going to like the same thing, obviously. As much as I enjoyed this book, not everything he said resonated with me. That's OK, because if it did then I would be worried. But, many things did resonate with me and I could only read a few chapters at a time. I like to absorb what I read, not just read.

Very useful book emphasizing naturalness and wholeness

It is always useful to realize that people have been "battling" for thousands of years with the same trend away from naturalness. This book emphasizes wholeness as a way of life. For some readers, the sprinkling of Chinese cosmology will be totally off the wall -- for others it will make a lot of sense. Either way the theme is the same -- focus on making your life natural to you!
