This book gives children the opportunity to really explore their creativity and use their imagination. There are 52 "Squiggles", that when viewed on their own do not look like much. But with a little imagination, your child can turn that squiggle into anything under the sun! It is fun to see how each person in the family may see something different when looking at the squiggles. One person may see a fish, another may see a tower and another may see a flower...All from the same squiggle. Once your child has decided on what they want the squiggle to turn into, they can then complete the picture with their own drawing. Or even just a completed doodle. After they have completed their picture, there are lines for them to write a story about what they drew. The lines in this book are "Primary Writing Lines" that are perfect for those kids who need a little more space to write. The back of each doodle page is full of lines to continue the story if needed. With 52 Squiggle Story starters, it is great for a year long project, where you could have your child do one story per week, and then you will have a completed keepsake book at the end of the year. This would be great to use in the elementary school classroom and for homeschoolers as well.
