The diary opens at Dargnies on 2 January 1917. 1917 is spent at Dargnies, Heuchin, Nobescourt Farm and Guizancourt. 1918 at Bouvincourt, Monchy Lagache and Pont De Metz. It closes at Pont De Metz on 21 February 1918. Dargnies is where it spent longest, 56 days, it came back to Bouvincourt five separate times, and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 39 days at Nobescourt Farm. Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Nobescourt Farm. In 1917 it is also recorded at Incheville Beauchamps Cust. Marest Pont Marais, Darg, Gamaches, Beauchamps, Lincheux, Guienemicourt, Thennes & Berteaucourt, Cerisy, Peronne and Boucly.
