It's been 21 years since we created this chapbook. It was a way to honor Brodah Amadou Diallo and get my first set of poems out to the planet. A chapbook is a wonderful tradition that I was proud to join, it was a cheap way to put a book together. 41 Times took my voice around the planet, hand to hand, word of mouth, reverberating back to me in emails and social media connections and invitations to perform and teach. This reissue comes in the midst of my reflection of a life as a storyteller.
