Lessons On and Off the CourtI've come to understand that "no man is an island" and that we all need somebody in this life. it's funny, how that first time of incarceration can bring on such an overwhelming feeling of loneliness and in that time of need to talk with someone, two people showed up "God and you." Now when you don't really know God like that, you decide to talk to the person you think you know, "myself and I." I began to reflect on the memories of my life and after long period of conversing with myself, I was all I thought about. I had many crazy thoughts, funny thoughts, loving thoughts, beautiful thoughts, sad thoughts, blissful thoughts and a lot of evil thoughts. Then one day a creative thought came my way and I said to me, "there is no sense in both of us to be incarcerated," so I decided to creatively set my thoughts free and give the world an opportunity to meet me. So here I am after 40 years of incarceration, I'm finally set free.
