Good NY Sports History

As a lifelong New Yorker I found the book brought back many memories of what was once a place to see and be seen, the Downtown Athletic Club. Unfortunately, times have changed, but it was enjoyable to read about some of my heroes from the past.Paper quality of the book isn't up to par, but I can't imagine a New York sports fan not enjoying this.

If you like sports, this book is for you!

Normally I don't go for the retrospective books, but in this case, I made an exception. Rudy Riska knows everybody in sports, and a lot of entertainers too! If you like reading interesting stories about athletes and celebrities--this book is right up your alley. And even though I don't know the New York scene very well, I still enjoyed it. If you are person who is into sports, or know somebody who is, this book is perfect!
