Great book. A must read.

If you like Carville this book is perfect. If not, read it anyhow. Great book. Carville is right on.

Entertaining

The book is just as wise and witty as watching those two being interviewed on TV. They keep you interested and give very useful information. When reading I picture them sitting in the room with me. I love them.

Carville sees what others don't

Carville understands what too many in the Democratic Party have missed -- the nature of mass media. His recognition that the media's constant hunger for new material drives the news cycle helped him become one of the most important voices in politics in the last 15 years. This most recent work, co-authored with rising star and messaging wunderkind Rebecca Buckwalter-Poza, doesn't speculate that Democrats will win every election for the next 40 years. Rather, he contends that Republican missteps and a bold new agenda driven by a transformative president will put Democrats on "offense" in the same way that Republicans largely drove the agenda from 1980 to 2008. Carville is at his best when he's in a good argument, and his brand of folksy sarcasm comes across pitch-perfect here. I look forward to hearing more from the talented Buckwalter-Poza in the years to come!

I actually read an advanced copy

This is a well written book, and makes a lot of sense. To the person who commented on the title about "Rule", have you even bothered to read the book? No, you have not. I find it disturbing and immature that someone would give a book 2 stars based on the title without actually reading it. Isn't this review section for people who actually have read books and put thoughtful insight into them? Anyhow, it's a well thought out book using logic, statistics, and plain and simple facts based on demographics and the change in the culture of this Country. It's a very good read!
