Olive Stacey is an ordinary girl with an ordinary life. That is with the exception of her inabiltiy to remember anything from the past year. On September 4th 2019, she was in a car accident, causing her a head injury that prevents her from remembering anything that happened before that day.
Since then she's lived in Brooklyn, New York and has frequent visits from her overbearing mother. Her daily routine consists of waking up, eating breakfast, working at Leo's Bar and Grill and then going back home to sleep only to do it all over again. After giving up all aspects of social life in order to recover, Olive has almost lost hope that this painfully boring routine is going to last forever.
But one Saturday afternoon, changes everything when Detective James Brooke's steps into Leo's Bar and Grill. Shes told everything she's been taught since the accident, from who she is, to where she lives, to her own name, is a lie.
She travels with James to the East End of Long Island to learn about her true identity and more importantly, who was responsible for her kidnapping.
