365 Days: enjoy healthy relationships

Every marriage relationship has a thorn, that one issue that can't be fixed overnight. I believe all issues in relationship can be made better but it involves a two-step process. First, surrender all control over to God. Then, Ask, Seek, Knock....in other words pray for direction and then take the next steps as He guides you. Its action oriented. The hope is your relationship bed isn't doomed. It can get better. It's just going to take intention for you two. Not knowing your particular situation, I'm making broad statements here. But, I am confident that with Christ all things are possible and he shows his strength through our weaknesses. Consider your beliefs about sexual intimacy in three ways; spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Spiritually - What do you believe God says about sexual intimacy in relationship? Is it to be tolerated or celebrated? Emotionally - Are you and your husband relating well, loving each other well outside of the bedroom? Physically - Are your hormones balanced, are you on medications that may make sexual intimacy difficult, are you exercising regularly? I'm just fed up at this point, it been 365 days and no sex days of any kind I've tried to be understanding and kind with what she's going through but the fact is our sex life sucks. We barely have sex and when we do it's just her going through the motions like it's a chore. She clearly doesn't want sex with me anymore so fine. I should be allowed to pursue it elsewhere then. She can fuck anyone she wants too as well obviously because she certainly isn't interested in doing it with me. We've talked the issue to death at this point and like I said I have tried to be understanding but honestly, I just can't do this anymore. I don't even really want to fuck other women. I want my wife who enjoys having sex with me back. I want this to be a wakeup call and maybe make her jealous or better yet get a real answer as to what's actually bothering her. Sexual and romantic desires have the power to break hearts, enslave bodies, and wreck the world. So why on earth did God create sex so powerful? I want to unpack this a bit because it will help all of us to better navigate this sex-saturated culture. Sex was powerful before sin entered the picture. In fact, I dare say sex was more powerful then. The atomic power of sex is not something the evil one invented, not something he would ever even dream of. Sex is God's invention and He loves what He has made.
