I have been a full-time carer for my severely disabled husband for the past ten years. During this time, I also cared for my mother-in-law who had vascular and lewy-body dementia. She sadly died last year, but I was so grateful for the time I spent ensuring that her days and nights were as free from fear, pain and anxiety as possible.
