33: A Collection of Essays and Poems

33 is a collection of prose and poems through my eyes. As I experience life, I write what I observe in the day-to-day. What may start out as a mundane moment or interaction, becomes something I closely watch and feel; I let all the senses sink in. I try and create magic in these moments, or personify beings I come in contact with. The chapter headings speak for themselves, and are organized into the different moods or experiences I've had: "On Dating" is around impactful past relationships, "On Love" represents pieces such as a conversation with my Dad, or a visit with my Grandmother after she passed. "On Sadness" describes a range of events in which the overall tone is sorrowful, wistful, and melancholic. "On Spirit Animals", conveys the feelings on my deepening connection to animals. "Living in the Moment" and "On Exploring" depict an occurrence during my travel, or a day in my life.
