The diary opens at Argoeuves on 1 January 1916. 1916 is spent at Senlis, Bethune, Henencourt, Louvencourt and Stouen. 1917 at Bertrancourt, Voyennes, Lequesnel, Auroir and Louvencourt. It closes at Coxyde-Les-Bains on 30 June 1917. Senlis is where it spent longest, 110 days across five separate stays, including a single unbroken stay of 30. In 1916 it is also recorded at Bouzincourt, Doullens, Monchel, Monchy-Cayeux, Ecquedecque, Marles-Les-Mines, La Thieuloye, Le Cauroy, Authieule and Bertrancourt.
