I once heard about two theologians and their debate over the number of promises to us recorded in God's Word. One said there were 3,500 the other said 30,000. I actually like, and agree, with what a young girl said concerning the number of promises found in God's Word. She said, "There are more than enough!"This devotional contains over 130 verse references from God's Word. Several are direct promises to us. Others have the promise hidden within the truth. Over the Next 31 Days I challenge you to have one of two questions in mind. If the verse is a promise, ask: how can this promise transform my life? If the promise is hidden within the truth, ask: how can this truth transform my life? May we be like the young girl who understood there are more than enough promises for us from our heavenly Father.
