31 Days of Hope: Devotions in the Storm

The Corona virus outbreak has changed our world since I wrote Thirty-One Days of Hope back in 2017. Though hopelessness is certainly nothing new, this disease that has killed millions of people around the world has made the battle personal for us all. How should we live with the ground under our feet shaking as never before? The simple answer is - just as we should have been doing all along: with faith in God, humility and a willingness to serve others. Being in the grip of a public health emergency offers us multiple opportunities to honor Christ, offer our support to people in need and do our part in guarding against spreading a life-threatening disease. Our first order of business is to keep our eyes on Jesus. This book of hope is a devotional for those going through times of stress or serious illness as well as shut-ins, nursing home residents or care givers. God's word is unlimited in its power to minister hope and healing to all of us in our time of greatest need.
