Book Overview

The mission of my ministry is to help people to learn to "sit well at The Well." This concept is basically the idea of the significance of receiving the love of Christ in such a way that it restores us and renews us so we then are able to sit with others as they are receiving, being restored and renewed. However, to sit with others, we must first sit. It is in this act of sitting that we find peace. There is a neurological phenomenon of peace, but there is also the neurological phenomenon of anxiety and fear that can sometimes overpower our neurological peace. The act of sitting at the Well is an act of finding that neurological peace. To get that neurological peace that surpasses all understanding one must first find peace with the Lord for it is only the Lord that can settle us from our fears and shame. It is in the act of drawing closer to Him that settles our fears and shame. "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him" (1 Cor. 2:9).
